Urban Fraiche Restaurant

Urban Fraîche is truly one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Phoenix! ❤️ The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is incredible every single time. I especially love the hummus, eggplant spaghetti, cheese platter, and fish kabobs — everything is so flavorful and delicious! And definitely save room for dessert because the rice pudding is AMAZING! 😍 One of my favorite parts of the experience is the belly dancing show! 💃✨ The dancers are incredible, the music and energy are so much fun, and it really turns dinner into an unforgettable night out. Amazing food, a gorgeous atmosphere, and fantastic entertainment, Urban Fraîche is always such a fun and special experience. I can’t wait to go back!

We tried Urban Fraiche yesterday for a late Mother’s Day celebration, and it was such a great dining experience from start to finish. Everything about the place stood out—the ambiance, the music, and especially the food. The food was absolutely amazing, and the lamb was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Arizona. You can really tell there’s care and authenticity behind every dish. What made it even more special was how meaningful the experience was for my mom—the owner truly brought a piece of Egypt to the States, and it genuinely took her back home. That alone made the night unforgettable. They also offer hookah outside, which adds to the vibe, and host different events that we’re definitely excited to come back and try. Another cool touch is that the menu is interchangeable—the owner was absolutely great! He definitely pours in to his family owned restaurant endlessly. He also mentioned he’s always incorporating fresh ingredients and updating dishes regularly, which makes it even more exciting to return. Overall, it was an incredible experience. We’ll absolutely be back, and we’re already telling all our friends they need to go try it.

From the second we walked into Urban Fraîche Mediterranean, we were greeted by the chef and owner himself. Then we met Janette, our server, who was just absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond with my 5 year old. She brought her juice and literally made her a one of a kind kids entree. The host sat her in this beautiful queen chair, gave her a tiara, a little doll and a puppy friend to keep her company. 🥹👑 She was in heaven. They brought us things on the house and even gave us bottles of water to take home. The hospitality was honestly incredible. We felt like we were in Egypt the entire time. The mummy tombs, the decor, even the bathrooms were so unique and beautiful. It honestly felt like we were walking through a museum. You can tell how much love and attention went into this place. It wasn’t just going out to eat, it was an experience. I will 100% be back, especially for the belly dancing! 💃🏻❤️

Our first time here. We met Andy elsewhere and conversation directed us here. I love Mediterranean food so we were happy to try. The bar has creative and solid cocktail offerings, and a very diverse wine list with a well curated beer selection. We enjoyed shrimp kabab app which was delicious, accompanied by hummus, fetoosh salad, pita and more. We moved on to goat curry, which was exceptionally flavorful, along with couscous and broccolini. We also enjoyed lamb shoulder with pasta - wonderful. Andy provided great service at the bar, customizing menu offering with a wide selection of fresh juices and exotic liquors. Diverse and extensive wine list caters to all pallets. We were fortunate to also meat Chef Dean who elaborated on the fresh and extensively sourced ingredients. The atmosphere and decor is comfortable with lots of spaces for special events. Highly recommend- we’ll be back- thanks, UF!

The best customer experience I’ve had in a while. We celebrated a friends birthday with 8 people and she got the royal queen treatment from the start. Every single meal was delicious and lived up to their standard of quality, organic, and fresh. The atmosphere is so authentic and the owner and staff were so friendly. Can’t wait to go back. The hummus platter is a must for appetizers along with the 3 kabobs was the best combo.
