After hearing about Chelsea’s Kitchen what feels like a billion times, we finally used a gift card to try it out (plus, we have a friend who works there!), and it did not disappoint! The vibe is wonderfully fun and the decor is charmingly eclectic. I loved that the waitstaff wear black-and-white check patterns—it makes them so easy to spot if you need anything, though we barely had to look because the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu is very comprehensive, offering everything from burgers and sandwiches to full dinner plates, alongside a complete drink menu. Our food arrived impressively fast, and oh my goodness, the portions are absolutely huge! I easily split my meal in half to enjoy as a delicious second dinner the next day. Hubs ordered a burger and fries, and those fries had the most magically delicious seasoning! I opted for the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cornbread. The mashed potatoes were uniquely decadent—clearly loaded with lots of butter, kale, and maybe a touch of garlic. So good! The cornbread (which they advertise as gluten-free) was beautifully chunky with jalapeños and sweet corn. (I didn't ask, but I highly doubt my fried chicken was gluten-free—though it was still fantastic!). As a delightfully sweet touch on the way out, they have a little tray of scratch-made cookies you can help yourself to instead of the traditional wrapped mints. Such a warm, welcoming detail! Overall, a fantastic experience with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely go back!

All reviewsI rate Chelsea’s Kitchen a total of 4.75/5 stars. Cost 5/5 Fair prices for what you get. No complaints. Flavor 4/5 The crab tostada was a great starter. The cheeseburger and French dip both hit the spot and the Fresa Pepina was a nice touch. Good food, just not quite mind-blowing. Atmosphere 5/5 Relaxed, comfortable and easy to enjoy. Great place to unwind over a meal. Service 5/5 Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They took good care of us. We recommend.
Chelsea's Kitchen in Phoenix, AZ, is an amazing dining spot with more amazing food offerings. It is a casual vibe with a ton of outdoor seating and booth space. It was another hot day in Arizona and the spritzing machines were out. Back to the food. Everything came out fast and had an explosion of flavors that hit your taste buds. I highly recommend the guacamole and anything that has the green chile on it was fire. They do have a full bar and toms of cocktails and mocktails to choose from also. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Our server made recommendations about the menu and everything was perfect. Overall, Chelsea's Kitchen stands out for its emphasis on quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for brunch or a leisurely dinner, it promises a satisfying culinary experience.
I had a good dining experience at Chelsea’s Kitchen in Phoenix. We started with the guacamole and chips, along with the deviled eggs, and both appetizers were excellent. The guacamole tasted fresh, creamy, and well seasoned, while the chips were crisp and perfect for dipping. The deviled eggs were also flavorful and nicely presented, with the toppings adding a delicious savory touch. The starters were definitely the highlight of the meal. For my main course, I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious—the chicken was crispy, flavorful, and generously portioned, and the bun and toppings complemented it well. Unfortunately, the fries did not meet my expectations. They lacked the crispness and fresh texture I was hoping for and were not as enjoyable as the rest of the food. Overall, the appetizers and chicken sandwich were very good, and I would return to try other dishes. I just hope the fries are better next time.
Category: Gastropub. The homey feel of this place reminds me of a cabin in the Adirondacks. Although we would normally have dined on one of the outdoor patios or at the inviting bar just past the open kitchen, we chose a cozy comfy leather banquette over a table, from which we admired the decor: subdued lighting, shaded lamps, sandstone-brick wall, and open black steel truss ceiling with visible HVAC tubes. We were very happy with the wine list, which offered several bottles of red for $50 or less (our sweet spot for restaurant wines), and one was even under $40. The solidly gastropub menu came highly recommended. We started with the deviled eggs, which were presented on branded wooden trays that I now covet for my upcoming Oefs Mayo series. For a main we shared the blackened branzino, which was the best and most beautiful branzino I have seen anywhere. Golden and blackened, crispy, crusted, and large enough to be easily shareable, especially with a side of frites. The frites were wonderfully super crispy. And something happened with the frites that’s never happened before. We always order frites with mayo. In every other restaurant, I emphasize that we want mayo, not ketchup, and that it needs to arrive with the frites so they don’t get cold and flabby while we await the always-late mayo. We’re always assured that the mayo will arrive with the frites, but it never does, except at this restaurant, where it actually arrived BEFORE the frites. I was blown away by this little thing, and it made all the difference between an okay meal and a perfect one. This place is destined to become one of our regular haunts in Phoenix/Scottsdale.
